GP MaTe can be interfaced with most all financial / accounting systems that support interfaces. The Financial Interface Module (FIM) was developed to provide basic support for these interfaces and is then customized to meet the specific requirements of your workflow and the requirements of the financial product being interfaced.

GP MaTe has existing interfaces to many popular accounting systems, including:

  • SAP
  • Great Plains / Microsoft
  • JD Edwards
  • Accpac
  • Quickbooks

The FIM Module supports either batch style interfaces or real-time connectivity to the accounting package. Included in the FIM are transaction logging as well as error corrrection facilities to deal with any transaction rejected by the accounting system.

Accounting transactions can be passed in both directs (to and from the financial system) as required by the functionality.

Information Flows

In the typical FIM Interface, the following are information flows being shared between applications:

Purchase Requisition or Purchase Orders generated in GP MaTe are passed to the Accounting System (either for information on committed funds or for the Accounting System to place the orders)
Material Receipts in GP MaTe are passed to the Accounting System
Usage of Inventory distributes costs between operating accounts in the Accounting System
Invoice Matching (in GP MaTe or Accounting System) is passed to update real prices

GP MaTe’s FIM Module is flexible enough to handle most real world situations and can be adapted to your interface requirements.
